2019 AgLearn Workshop
The AgLearn team hosted a two-day workshop this August in Fort Collins, CO for all agency and office leads.
Now that the new AgLearn system has been up and running for nearly a year it was time to get in the same room to collaborate and continue to improve the AgLearn user experience.
Overall, the workshop was a success highlighting the interest from all agency and office leads to improve collaboration.
Supporting the OneUSDA effort, Team AgLearn will continue to foster collaboration and explore ways to provide a space for knowledge sharing.
One of the key elements throughout the workshop was a team oriented action learning exercise. Teams were randomly assigned to ensure leads from outside agencies would interact. Each team was assigned the task to identify a challenge and offer solutions. This approach brought forth ideas on how to improve AgLearn from the user and admin perspective. This exercise highlighted areas that could be improved and reinforced the working relationship between AgLearn Agency Leads and Team AgLearn.
We are pleased on the outcome and attendance for this event. The plan is to have an annual Workshop going forward to ensure we are offering all USDA the best service possible while supporting our administrative population.
Thank you to all the attendees for traveling to Fort Collins, CO and making this event a success.
