Steps to Get a Federal Employee AgLearn Account

All USDA federal employees are automatically enrolled in AgLearn; you do not have to register for an account. However, AgLearn needs human resources (HR) and eAuthentication (eAuth) data to create and update each AgLearn account. It is important to note that AgLearn is solely dependent upon these other data feeds to create and update this data.

Here are the necessary steps:

  1. Your HR data is entered into or updated in the new USDA Person Model. Agency AgLearn POCs can assist you with finding the correct HR Contact and can be found here: Agency Level POCs
  2. Initially you will automatically get an eAuth account notification via an e-mail message. Getting an eAuth account proves you have complete info in the USDA Person Model. Once created, you can check your eAuth account at Login Required to ensure your eAuth account works correctly.
  3. The data automatically flows from the USDA Person Model and eAuth into AgLearn.
  4. You will be able to log into AgLearn at using your eAuth account. Your AgLearn account will be populated with the HR data.

NOTE: If your account is missing critical data, your AgLearn record will not be created. Check your eAuth account and/or contact a local HR point of contact to correct your HR data in the USDA Person Model.
