April is celebrated as Arab American Heritage Month in the United States. It is a month-long celebration of the rich heritage and numerous contributions of Arab Americans to society. President Biden became the first U.S. president to declare April as Arab American Heritage Month External Link. Americans of Arab heritage have advanced the nation’s achievements in diplomacy, science, technology, as well as in art and culture. We mark Arab American Heritage Month by celebrating the rich culture and heritage of Arab Americans and honoring their contributions to this country.
The Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood partnerships has designated the 2024 theme as “Celebrating the Arab American community’s rich heritage and numerous contributions to society.” The theme recognizes the contributions of Arab Americans to our community.
