AgLearn Annual Workshop: A Resounding Success

AgLearn, a leading organization in agricultural education and training, recently hosted its annual workshop from May 7th to May 9th. The event brought together approximately 60 attendees, including customers, vendors, and AgLearn staff.

Workshop participants had the opportunity to attend insightful presentations from industry leaders. Notable speakers included representatives from Totara Learning, the Office of Human Resources Management, Skillsoft, and LinkedIn Learning. These sessions covered a wide range of topics, from learning management systems to professional development strategies.

The workshop also featured two best practice sessions. The first focused on the Food and Nutrition Service, sharing effective approaches for optimizing training programs. The second session highlighted the U.S. Peace Corps, emphasizing successful learning initiatives within their organization.

On the third day, attendees delved into hands-on breakout sessions. These interactive workshops allowed participants to explore AgLearn’s functional areas in depth. Topics included creating customized programs and certifications, designing agency-specific dashboard landing pages, and leveraging PowerBI for data analysis and insights related to AgLearn.

Feedback from workshop participants was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees praised the engaging presentations and the practical knowledge gained during the breakout sessions. AgLearn’s commitment to fostering professional growth and innovation was evident throughout the event.
