Women's Equality Day

In celebration of this year’s Women’s Equality Day, Team AgLearn is providing information and resources to encourage engagement with this annual commemoration of the passage of the 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

The USDA’s 2024 theme, “Equality Starts with Empowered Women,” highlights the importance of fostering wellbeing and resilience of women in the workplace and society. Women’s Equality Day provides an opportunity to celebrate the progress made towards eliminating gender-based barriers and an impetus to create a future where women have equal opportunities in all areas of life.

A Departmental observance will be hosted on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EST on the Whitten Patio and available live on Zoom. Register Here for the Departmental Observance External Link
